Slow Flow with Aman
Unwind with Slow Flow, a gentle Hatha yoga session led by Aman that blends mindful movement, breath, and optional sensory elements in the inspiring setting of the gallery. Participants will be guided through slow, foundational postures designed to build strength, flexibility, and awareness, with a focus on breath, alignment, and relaxation. This calming experience offers a restorative opportunity to reconnect with yourself while surrounded by art.

Restorative Yoga with Pamela
Facilitated by yoga instructor Pamela Lis, this special Art of Yoga session invites you to slow down, unwind, and restore through a calming restorative yoga practice. Set within the inspiring atmosphere of the gallery, this gentle session focuses on deep relaxation, mindful breathing, and supported postures designed to help release tension and reset the body.

Origami Paper Boats with Artist A.S.M. Kobayashi
Inspired by the history of Japanese Canadian fishing communities and the AGM’s current exhibition Electric Neon Clock, this hands-on workshop invites folks of all ages, and especially families with young children, to decorate and fold origami boats made from durable, water-resistant synthetic paper. This drop-in workshop concludes with participants floating their boats together in the Celebration Square fountain, creating a playful and collective moment in public space.

Restorative Yoga with Pamela
Facilitated by yoga instructor Pamela Lis, this special Art of Yoga session invites you to slow down, unwind, and restore through a calming restorative yoga practice. Set within the inspiring atmosphere of the gallery, this gentle session focuses on deep relaxation, mindful breathing, and supported postures designed to help release tension and reset the body.

Weaving with the Unseen: Roots, Weeds & Gathered Materials
Join us for a hands-on weaving workshop with artists Cathie Jamieson and Jill Price, inspired by our current exhibitions and using foraged and found materials. Through demonstrations and guided experimentation, participants will learn weaving and braiding techniques while creating a woven mat or small basket and exploring connections between land, sustainability, storytelling, and craft. A $5 registration fee helps cover materials and encourage attendance, with free tickets available upon request for anyone facing financial barriers.
