With 15 years of experience as the coordinator at the Streetsville Founder’s Bread and Honey Festival, Sandy dedicates herself to fostering community engagement and celebration. She actively contributes to various community organizations, including The Streetsville Legion, 100 Women Who Care, Historical Society, MBOT, and the Mississauga Arts Council. As a committed Board Member and volunteer for T’was the Bite Before Christmas (Feed Mississauga), she helps in the fight against hunger and empowers those in need. Alongside raising four children, she spearheaded notable initiatives such as the Santa Claus Parade, Streetsville’s 150th anniversary, Streetsville Canada Day, and the Redevelopment of the Vic Johnson Community Centre. Passionate about the arts and community engagement, she always strives to give back and make a positive impact.
