
SHIANN CROFT
TD Assistant Curator
Shiann Croft is a multidisciplinary artist, cultural preservationist, and curator based in Brampton. Her work engages storytelling and Black diasporic identity through performance, digital media, and community-based practice, with a focus on how culture is carried, shared, and reimagined across generations.
She is the founder and Director of The Coven, an interdisciplinary collective that centers Black and Indigenous women and femmes through performance, wellness, and community-based practices.
Croft currently serves as the TD Assistant Curator at the Art Gallery of Mississauga, where she supports exhibitions and public programming that center diverse voices, while expanding the role of the gallery as a space for community, care, and creative experimentation.
