The Art Gallery of Mississauga (AGM) is thrilled to announce that the Summer Art Hive is back for 2025, a free, drop-in program that will bring the joy of creativity to Mississauga. On select Wednesdays in July and August, these workshops offer a unique opportunity for residents to come together and experience art in a welcoming, non-judgmental environment.
What is Art Hive?
An Art Hive is a community-based, inclusive space designed to foster creativity without the pressure of formal instruction. It’s a place where people of all ages and skill levels can come together to explore, create, and connect. At its core, an Art Hive is about sharing ideas, supporting one another, and enjoying the creative process. No prior art experience is required—just bring your curiosity, creativity, and willingness to try something new!
Art Hive in the Square
Thanks to the support of the Rama Gaming House and Charitable Gaming Community Good through their charity initiatives, The Summer Art Hive is designed to promote community connection and mental health through the power of art. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or trying art for the first time, these workshops are for anyone looking to express themselves, relax, and meet others in a supportive and creative space.
