Create your own border crossing comic

border crossings: creating parallel histories is an archaeology of the present and uses the transformative power of art to challenge preconceived ideas around both literal and metaphorical boundaries. Over a two-hour workshop, led by artists Sharada Eswar and Sid Sharp, community members are invited to share their stories and experiences with crossing borders - geographical, linguistic, spiritual and personal. We will use drawings, prompts, collage and non-traditional storytelling in a relaxed and conversational workshop.

Open to all. No prior experience necessary. Registration required. There is no fees and all materials will be provided. Register on Eventbrite.
